The Carbone winery sits on top of symbolic site for the area, just above the first historical furnace of the Vulture volcano compound: Toppo San Paolo, in Braide.
That’s the place where grapes become wine. No frills in the winery: stainless steel containers of different capacities, with the possibility to manage temperatures whenever needed, some pumps, a pneumatic grape presser, and a small bottling machine.
Everything happens under a wooden roof, to facilitate thermic insulation, while surrounded by vineyards, wheat fields, Kites, Buzzards, Kestrels.
